Mother's Day Gifts Ideas

Hello everyone and once again I'm sorry this isn't a recipe I thought I was hosting an afternoon tea this weekend but it's next weekend so hopefully there will be plenty of recipes. I thought as mother's day is coming around the corner I would shows you some gift ideas to show your mums some love this mother's day. If your mum isn't with you this year this day shouldn't be you being sad; celebrate how great she was and remember your happiest times.

Flowers

Flowers are a lovely thing to brighten up a room and, as it's spring there are so many pretty flowers available in the shops.

Pictures

Presenting you mum with lots of memories on mothers day is such a lovely
thing to do and relatively inexpensive. I displayed some picture in a clear frame with some hearts and flower petals, to make it look extra cute!

Your Time

If you don't live at home anymore you may not see your mum that much so surprise her on mother's day by giving her your time to show her how much you love her.

Open when your... letters

These are such a lovely idea which is relatively inexpensive and shows you've put time and effort into making her feel loved.

Bake her something

Needless to say there are plenty of recipes on this blog to choose from and can be a really lovely gift.

Whatever you do this mothers day to show her your love remember how lucky you are as some people don't have there mums with them this year, this has taught me how grateful I should be, see you on Wednesday.

DIY - Cork Board Organiser

Hello everyone and today I have a DIY for you. I absolutley love this DIY as I think it looks great in any room and can really be personalised; it is also relatively inexpensive.

I purchased this cork board from Wilko for around £4 and thought this could be a great and fun DIY.

Firstly I hot glued some lace around the edges as I thought it would add a really lovely boarder,

 then I used blue baker's twine to make almost a washing line from the two corners and made some little lists on que cards which I chopped in half and pinned onto the twine with some little pegs;

this I found really helpful to keep myself super oragnised. I also used these really cute little buckets and hot glued them on to keep some DIY magnets and some pins in. this, I had to say made the cork board look really cute. Lastly I popped on some pictures from photobooths and things to make it personal to me but didn't want to photo them which is why you can't see them here.

Here are some other ideas of what you could include:
  •  A world map; and stick a pin everywhere you have been.
  • lots of pictures and memories.
  • little notes to your self and things to remember.
  • little jars to hold cosmetics and or stationary.
  • pins to hang jewellery.
I love the way you can mix and match with this DIY and the posibilities are endless. I hope you enjoyed this blog; I know I said todays blog would be a recipe but that will now be sunday; and don't worry they're super tastey! I hope this helped some of you to get organised. Come back on Sunday for a recipe!

Product Review - Body Shop Hemp Hand Cream

Hello Everyone and welcome back to bundle of chatter. In the winter becasue it can get quite chilly and I'm always losing that one glove my hands can get extremely dry and tend to bleed and become very sore. Which I'm sure you can all imagine; isn't plesent. Recently I've been using body shop's 30ml hand creams but they ran out :-( so.... when I went into london recently I was on a mission to buy a new hand cream.

When I went into body shop I noticed they had a new hand cream out which was great! I heading for the till and as I paid the lady at the till gave me a small green token and told me that £1.50 of the price went to a charity of my choice which I thought was a really lovely added extra.

The product is 100ml and £11 which is a great price considering the smaller, 30ml hand creams are £4. The hand cream is made with hemp which helps to "relieve dry skin" and "restores moisture". The packaging has "change" on it as the £1.50 goes towards change for better. The only this I'm not sure about this packaging is that I am worried that it might be a bit difficult to get all the product out when you have got to the end of it but that's my only critism.

In my opinion I really love this hand cream it doesn't leave your hands sticky and leaves them extremely smooth. The smell is slightly like porridge (If you haven't already noticed I'm not great at describing smells) and wheat; personally I really like the smell.

This hand cream has made a massive difference to my hands and can help other people and wildlife too. If your thinking about buying this amazing product be quick as this size is limited edition. Although you can get the 30ml version anytime this will last longer and helps someone else out.

Thanks for reading this blog be sure to check out the body shop website for more amazing products like this one. I'm sorry blogs haven't been very consistant lately but I'm going to fix that. Come back on wednesday for a diy!

I'm sure alot of you have seen the adult colouring books on every shelf, and I thought it would be really lovely to do some colouring. If, like me you don't have one of the books I just searched google images and some really lovely designs came up plus; it is a really nice achievement once you have finished.
Here is one I did and the link that I used will be below:

I also found that is was really relaxing especially while watching your favourite program; this would be really good for someone with anxiety or alot on their mind as it really does relax you. I love the way you can personalise it and make it unique; although it does take a bit of time it is so worth it and gives you a really big sense of achievement.

Thank you for reading this blog post I hope you enjoyed it and I will include a few links to some really nice designs ( that you can colour in) here. Also, I made a cake yesterday with a friend which was a funfetti victoria spounge with maltesers splitting the two layers and to stop the jam pouring out ( If you'd like to see pictures from that and how we constructed it comment below ).
