Hello again

So it's been a while and my that would be due to too many episodes of stranger things, which if you haven't already been drawn into, I would Defineately recommend. I've also spent some of the summer cleaning out my room 2 or 3 times which I know what your thinking, I know how to live: but I have an exuse for loving what seems like a massive chore. Cleaning my room out make me feel less cluttered and stressed plus I've got a bin bag full of things to give to charity and hopefully give them new homes and support the charity. I also went fruit picking at a farm near me which was so lovely to get out of the house into the fresh air and we made a load of sweet treats with the fruits of our labour. I've also decided to make my blog more chatty and less formal which sounds weird but I mean that there doesn't have to be fancy words used or strict deadlines to stick to, just making bundle of chatter more chattery.  Lastly I've been stepping outside my comfort zone while baking and managed both Italian meringue butter cream and lemon curd which weren't easy but tasted amazing, I'll leave links to the recipes I used below, and have been making up a lot of diys for you all to try out.

Speak to ya soon,
Lyeira

Shopping Haul

Hello everyone, so recently I went shopping with a friend and although I only brought two things I thought I would talk about them as I think there my new favourite things.

Maybelline Lash Sensational:
So I brought this mascara accidently in water proof but I'm so glad I did. My old mascara would always leave a dark smudge under my eyes by the end of the day and I would'nt even rub my eyes, but this mascara does not budge. To put it to the test I even splashed my face with water and It literally doesn't move. Also it comes off relatively easy at the end of the day with micellar water and a cleansing balm.

The Cutest Thing Ever:
I brought this in a craft shop and everything in there was handmade. I had to buy this because it's so adorable and I've never seen anything like it. They had so many different colours and it was just very cute.

Thank you all for reading and I'll see you next sunday for another blog.

Whats In My Bag

Hello everyone so I recntly save up and brought a new black handbag. Because of this I thought I'd show you what I keep in my bag for daily use. Also I'll list all the items and where to get them if you'd like to purchase anything. Most of the things here where either gifts or I just can't find them so I'll put a link to the next best alternative.

So here is the bag....

 http://www.asos.com/ALDO/ALDO-Mini-Tote-Bag-With-Metal-Bar/Prod/pgeproduct.aspx?iid=6194778&istCompanyId=6f061ed0-7427-4b6c-bb90-987c0bd08468&istItemId=awmwxlama&istBid=tztx&affid=14173&channelref=product+search&utm_source=google&utm_medium=ppc&utm_term=41477300408&utm_content=&utm_campaign=&cvosrc=ppc.google.41477300408&network=g&mobile=&search=1&content=&creative=53983301781&ptid=41477300408&adposition=1o1&r=2&mk=ab&gclid=CjwKEAjw9Zu5BRCS_OuVibujhQ0SJAD7t4KrZ_FAVZs26exQ_7Tohd9X_ZUeX1NZ0C3epULTvG6yUBoCE9Pw_wcB

It is from asos and has 1 inside zip pocket and 3 other pockets and a pen holder.

So the main thing in my bag is this Zoella Beauty sticker bag, i think is is so adorable and can be easily be personalised and they are so big and i can get so much stuff in it.

Here is the things I keep in this bag:

DIY clipboard wall art

Hello everyone, over the bank holiday weekend I have been upcycling a few bits and bob as I am making a cute wall display above my desk.

Clip Board:
I've seen quite a few of this floating around the interent as people are using them on the wall and clippping lots of cute quotes and pictures on them. perosnally I think this lots so cute and can really be personalised. Alothough these can be quite espensive and diy-ing them is so  much cheaper and can be exactly what you like.

what I used:
  •  A MDF piece of wall art ( I had 2 so changed up one of them ) - 50p
  • small tester pot of cream paint - roughly £2
  • small pot of blue nail polish - £1.50
  • Some tape
  • Spounge or paint brushes
  • hot glue gun or strong glue
luckily I already had all of these items so it cost me virtually nothing. Also keep in mind that this method is for the piece  MDF I brought and will be different for you guys.

What I did:
  • Firstly I peeled off the sticker on the front so that I was left with a white base.

  • Then I painted the whole thing cream and let that completely dried and then painted a second coat.
  • Once that was dry I picked a nail polish that was quite watery and poured some of that in a little at a time until I got this blue shade that I really like.

  • Next I used some tape on the cream layer in a random arrangement to make this pattern, make sure you test a tiny bit of the tape on the paint first to make sure it isn't going to take it off.
  • Once all the tape is on in an arrangement you like paint over the whole thing in the second colour you made.
  • If you don't need a second coat like myself wait until the paint is half dry and peel off the tape carefully.
  • once it is completely dry I used a thin layer of hair spray to set it all.

  • hot glue a large bulldog clip to the top centre and add what ever art or quotes or picture you would like.
  • hang it on the wall and admire your hard work.
Hope you enjoyed this job I'm so tempted to make so many more of these.

My Recipe Book

Over the last couple of months I've been writing all my recipes into this book. I think something like this is perfect if you like to make up and test out your own recipes. This specific one is from paperchase and cost me £10 which I think is a suitable price all things considered, I'll try and find a link if you want to buy it but I did get it a few months back so I'm not sure if they'll still sell it.

In the front page there is useful cooking information such as temperatures and conversion of measurements. This can be so useful especially if you want to know how much cake batter you'll need to go in the specific cake pan or anything else.

Then you can write your recipes. I honestly think this is the cutest thing; It's laid out so neatly and has a little pocket at the front of each section for pictures or printed recipes. The subsections are: bakes, bread, biscuits, desert, useful stuff and notes. I love the way it can be customised to suit all your tastes. In the "useful stuff" section there are things such as: favourite bakes, useful websites and obviously I had to get the self promo in there.

It's very difficult to put into words the cuteness of this so here are some pictures:

Where you can buy it - http://www.paperchase.co.uk/cupcakes-baking-journal.html

Thank you for reading I'm so happy to be back blogging and hope to see you all soon, also remember to follow me on instagram, @bundle.of.chatter.

Hello

Hello everyone, it's been along time since my last post and to be totally honest I completely lacked the motive to blog, I still love blogging but the action of sitting down at a computer and spending about an hour typing for anyone to read just seemed in my mind a bit over whelming. I'm not doing to promise upload days the truth is I'm going to post when I want to and I feel this will make it seem a little less over whelming. I hope you've all had a lovely couple of months, make sure to get enough sleep and drink plenty of water. Hope to write to all of you soon,

DIY Facemask For Blemish Prone Skin

Hello everyone and welcome back to bundle of chatter. So my skin is very much blemish prone to put it kindly, it has been getting better but when outbreaks do occur I wanted to make something that would help my skin clear quicker. So after research I throw all the things I had found that seemed like they could be good for skin into a bowl and put it on my face for 20 minutes. A word of warning, this does sting for a few minutes; that's just the Cinnamon, if irritation occurs further wash it off quickly. Also check the ingredients and make sure your not allergic to anything; in a nutshells use at your own risk. This face mask didn't look the nicest or was the easiest to make or take off but it smelt amazing and has helped my skin massively with brightening, blemishes and dry patches and I use this mask every 2 weeks or so; all with things that are probably already in your kitchen. One last thing the ingredients are very strange but please don't let that put you off.

You Will Need:
  •  2 tps Plain Yogurt
  •   3 tps Honey
  •  2 tsp Cinnamon
  •  A Few Drops Of Lemon Juice
  •  1 Packet Of Instant Porridge
  •  A splash Of Milk
Method:
  • Mix the plain yogurt, Cinnamon, lemon juice and 2 tsp of the honey in a small bowl.
  • pour half the packet of instant porridge into a bowl and add a splash of milk, pop this into the microwave for half the time it said on the packet.
  • be careful taking it out and give it a mix.
  • combine the yogurt mixture with the porridge and add the last tsp of honey.
  • check the temperature and make sure it's lightly warm but not burning
  • wash your hands and leave them a bit damp before applying these as it means the mixture won't stick to your hands as much.
  • leave it on for around 20 mins or however long you'd like.
  • take it off and put it in the bin; I wouldn't recommend washing it down your sink.
Because my skin is quite dry I popped a layer of milk onto my face after this as it is a natural moisturiser and left it on until it felt tight and then washed it off with warm water.

why I used my ingredients:
  • Yogurt - it contains alpha hydroxy acid which kills dead skin cells and helps to prevent breakouts.
  • Honey - it has antibacterial properties which can help fight blemishes.
  • Cinnamon - helps to de-clog pours and helps heal ance scars.
  • Lemon Juice - it has antibacterial properties and can reduce blackheads.
  • Porridge - It is a natural moisturiser, relieves irritated skin and brightens it.
  • Milk - it is a natural moisturiser.
Personally I love this face mask and hope you do to, it does look like a lot of faffing but it was worth it. see you on Wednesday! Also I hope it helped that I explained why I used the ingredients I did!

http://www.thebodyshop.co.uk/shop-by-range/hemp/hemp-hand-protector.aspx

Colab Dry Shampoo - London:
I'm not very good at discribing smells but this smells like a really expensive shampoo, like the ones in the hairdressers. It makes my hair look less greasy and can also act as a texture spray.

 http://www.superdrug.com/Hair/Dry-Shampoo/Dry-Shampoo/COLab-Dry-Shampoo-Sheer-&-Invisible-LONDON-200ml/p/313401

Dream BB Fresh Cream:
I don't like wearing foundation so this I thought would be great. This product is amazing it feels so light going on and has really great staying power. It hasn't got amazing coverage but makes your skin look really glowy.

Mother's Day Gifts Ideas

Hello everyone and once again I'm sorry this isn't a recipe I thought I was hosting an afternoon tea this weekend but it's next weekend so hopefully there will be plenty of recipes. I thought as mother's day is coming around the corner I would shows you some gift ideas to show your mums some love this mother's day. If your mum isn't with you this year this day shouldn't be you being sad; celebrate how great she was and remember your happiest times.

Flowers

Flowers are a lovely thing to brighten up a room and, as it's spring there are so many pretty flowers available in the shops.

Pictures

Presenting you mum with lots of memories on mothers day is such a lovely
thing to do and relatively inexpensive. I displayed some picture in a clear frame with some hearts and flower petals, to make it look extra cute!

Your Time

If you don't live at home anymore you may not see your mum that much so surprise her on mother's day by giving her your time to show her how much you love her.

Open when your... letters

These are such a lovely idea which is relatively inexpensive and shows you've put time and effort into making her feel loved.

Bake her something

Needless to say there are plenty of recipes on this blog to choose from and can be a really lovely gift.

Whatever you do this mothers day to show her your love remember how lucky you are as some people don't have there mums with them this year, this has taught me how grateful I should be, see you on Wednesday.
