Caramel and Fudge Cupcakes

Hello everyone todays post is possibly the best cupcake recipe ever, and trust me I've tried alot.
These cupcakes are caramel flavoured with fugde pieces inside and salted carmel buttercream. These are honestly so good and no that sickly.

You Will Need:

For the cupcakes:
  • 115g Unsalted Butter
  • 115g Self Raising Flour
  • 115g Caster Sugar
  •  2 Medium Eggs
  • 2 tsp Caramel Flavouring
  • 50g Mini Fudge Pieces
For the buttercream:
  • 100g Icing Sugar
  • 50g Unsalted Butter
  • 2 tsp Caramel Flavoring
  • Pinch of Salt
Method:
  • Preheat your oven to 180 (fan) (gas mark 6/ 200C)
  • make your batter using the creaming method (if you would like the full break down of ingredients Click Here.  Although don't add the vanilla extract but the caramel flavouring instead.
  • add in your fudge pieces.
  • pop your cupcakes in the oven for 15 - 20 minutes and then leave them to cool for a further 10 - 15 minutes.
  • make your buttercream by mixing the icing sugar and butter together until creamy.
  • mix the caramel flavouring and salted in a small bowl and then slowly add to the mix tasting along the way.
  • ice the cupcakes and decorate with a couple more fudge pieces.
  • enjoy your amazingly delicious cupcakes!
