These cupcakes are caramel flavoured with fugde pieces inside and salted carmel buttercream. These are honestly so good and no that sickly.
You Will Need:
For the cupcakes:
- 115g Unsalted Butter
- 115g Self Raising Flour
- 115g Caster Sugar
- 2 Medium Eggs
- 2 tsp Caramel Flavouring
- 50g Mini Fudge Pieces
- 100g Icing Sugar
- 50g Unsalted Butter
- 2 tsp Caramel Flavoring
- Pinch of Salt
- Preheat your oven to 180 (fan) (gas mark 6/ 200C)
- make your batter using the creaming method (if you would like the full break down of ingredients Click Here. Although don't add the vanilla extract but the caramel flavouring instead.
- add in your fudge pieces.
- pop your cupcakes in the oven for 15 - 20 minutes and then leave them to cool for a further 10 - 15 minutes.
- make your buttercream by mixing the icing sugar and butter together until creamy.
- mix the caramel flavouring and salted in a small bowl and then slowly add to the mix tasting along the way.
- ice the cupcakes and decorate with a couple more fudge pieces.
- enjoy your amazingly delicious cupcakes!
